Collar Sizing

Follow the steps below to ensure that you get the perfect sized collar for your pup!

Option 1- Measure your pup’s neck:

  • Measure your dog’s neck by using a cloth or sewing tape measure, string, or flexible object.
  • Take your measuring object and wrap it around your dog’s neck where your dog normally wears their collar. Make sure it isn’t too tight, you should be able to get a finger or two under the collar. If using a string or other flexible object, use it to determine the size around your dog’s neck, and then measure that length on a ruler or tape measure.
  • Find the perfect collar size below using those measurements. If the measurement falls between the sizes, and your dog is still growing, consider going up in size. Be sure to enter the measurement in inches when checking out!

Option 2 - Measure an existing collar that fits well:

  • Find a collar that fits your dog well
  • Take it off your dog and lay it flat.
  • Lay the collar next to a ruler. DO NOT MEASURE END TO END. - For buckle style, measure from the buckle fold to the hole your dog is using on the collar. - For clip style collars, only measure one side of the clip.
  • Find the perfect collar size below using those measurements. If the measurement falls between the sizes, and your dog is still growing, consider going up in size. Be sure to enter the measurement in inches when checking out!

Fi Collars

The collar sizes include the collar plus the Fi module. Please use the same steps as above to determine the collar size needed for your pup. The sizing is slightly different from our standard collars, so take note below.

About Fi Series 2 Compatible Collar Bands

Our Fi Collar Bands are built strong, using the same professional climbing rope as our regular collars, and have a space to attach your Fi Module using genuine Fi endlinks. In addition, our Fi Collars also feature a thin black webbing that lays between the Fi module and your dog’s neck. This feature takes the force away from the Fi Module and endlinks if your pup pulls, but still allows you to charge the Module WITHOUT detaching it from the collar.  Don’t forget to mix and match your customized Fi GPS Trackers with one of our climbing-inspired leashes.

  • Choice between a lightweight clasp made of durable aluminum and plastic, or an all-metal clasp! (Small collars only are available in the lightweight clasp. The metal clasp is too heavy for most small dogs)
  • Lightweight and adjustable
  • Backing behind the Fi Module to add strength
  • Can charge the module while on the collar
  • Reinforced stitching on all stress points
  • Easy-to-use, quick-release buckle
  • Durable D-ring for a strong, yet lightweight, leash attachment point
  • Handmade in the USA
  • 1" wide band
